Natural Cleaners and Tips
Are Safe for the Environment
And Save You Money

WHY USE NATURAL CLEANERS?

They Save Money:
Taking care of your home and your stuff is important because you work hard for your money. Natural cleaning and natural stain removers will replace many costly chemical products and save you money. You don't need expensive cleaners for your home just use these natural cleaners and they do a much better job anyway.

They Prevent Pollution:
You want your stuff to look nice but you don't want to pollute the air in your house or the environment with chemicals. Especially if you have kids and you don't want them exposed to the harsh chemicals that are in some of the cleaning products sold in stores these days.

However, some tough spots need a more harsh, chemical-based solution and not all natural cleaners are safe to breath, handle or apply. Just be careful and use common sense.

They Are Convenient:
When a spill happens, it is much easier to reach for the baking soda, white vinegar or the salt shaker and some cold water. Or you could run to the store and try to decipher the different uses between 10 different cleaners as the stain sets in on your carpet, upholstery or your favorite silk blouse.

Not All Spills Are Created Equal:
Here Are Some Different Stain Fighters:

  • Natural Abrasives - for scrubbing stains from surfaces without scratching the surface. Baking Soda and Table Salt.

  • Natural Absorbents - for soaking up liquid and oily stains from permeable surfaces such as non-finished wood or carpet. Cornstarch or Fuller's Earth.

  • Natural Bleach - for removing unwanted coloring, usually as a last resort stain fighter. Chlorine Bleach, hydrogen peroxide or oxygen bleach for all fabrics.

  • Natural Solvents - for diluting a stain causing agent and for keeping it wet so it can be flushed from a surface. Water, household ammonia, vinegar and isopropyl alcohol.

Baking Soda is Natural and Safe For Household Cleaning:
  • For Use in the Kitchen: baking soda scrubs away stains and grease without scratching.
You can clean sinks, counters, the tub and faucets, microwave ovens, the stovetop and ovens, pots & pans, refrigerator shelves and drawers, cutting boards, coffee pots & tea pots.

  • For Household Deodorizing: baking soda absorbs and eliminates odors on contact.
Use it to deodorize the freezer and the fridge (like you see advertized on TV), garbage & diaper pails, litter boxes, carpets, dishwasher (between uses), the garbage disposal and much more.
