Grass Stain Removal:
Whether you were rolling down the hill at your kid's school or they got grass on them while sliding into homebase at
their make-shift baseball game in the neighborhood field; you don't have to panic when grass stains get on your clothes or there's.
From Fabric, Laundry or Clothes:
If the fabric is colored, you need to test it for colorfastness as explained on stain removal tips page.
Step 1:
Place the fabric/clothing stain side down on an absorbent cloth. Prepare a mixture of 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol.
This means you use 2 teaspoons of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of rubbing alcohol.
Step 2:
Using a clean cloth, blot the back of the stain with the rubbing alcohol mixture (2 parts water to 1 part alcohol for acetate fabrics, DO NOT use alcohol on wool fabrics).
Step 3:
Replace the backing cloth and the blotting cloth with clean/fresh cloths frequently.
Step 4:
Rinse the stained item well with cold water.
Step 5:
If the stain remains on the fabric, sponge with white vinegar.
Step 6:
Launder the fabric according to the directions for that fabric using a liquid enzyme detergent.
