Remova Grass Stains from Carpet or Upholstery:
If the area is colored, you need to test it for colorfastness,
as outlined on the stain removal tips page.
Step 1:
Mix 2 parts water to 1 part rubbing alcohol. This means you can use 2 teaspoons of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of rubbing alcohol. Using clean white cloths, blot the stain with the rubbing alcohol mixture.
Replace the blotting cloth with a clean/fresh cloth frequently, so you don't spread the stain around.
Step 2:
Rinse the stained item well with cold water by blotting it with clean fresh water and a clean cloth.
Step 3:
If the stain remains on the carpet or upholstery, sponge the area with white vinegar.
Step 4:
If the stain is still visible mix water and a liquid enzyme detergent. Blot with other clean cloths until the stain is gone.
Step 5:
Let the area air dry.
