FREE Proven Solutions for Removing Ugly Dishwasher Stains
Remove dishwasher stains with confidence using these proven tips and solutions. A stained dishwasher can make your kitchen look old and rundown. Clean your dishes with a clean dishwasher.
Your dishwasher is used quite frequently. You’d think that dishwashing soap would clean the inside of the dishwasher each time it cleans your dishes. That’s what I used to think, until I really took a look at my dishwasher one day.
STEP 1:
Make sure the dishwasher is completely empty of all dishes and contains only the dish racks and the silverware caddy.
STEP 2:
Using an old toothbrush and some baking soda, scrub the corner and edges on the inside of the door to loosen the built up dirt stains, soap stains and hard water stains.
STEP 3:
Now rinse the baking soda off by slowly pouring hot water over the areas you just cleaned. You can do this while the dishwasher is open because, when you close it, the water will pool into the bottom of the dishwasher and be washed down the drain later.
STEP 4:
Run the dishwasher through a cycle, while empty, using dishwashing soap.
STEP 5:
If the stains are still visible, you should buy dishwashing cleaner at your local grocery store. Run it through your dishwasher while it is empty according to the package’s directions.
