Remove Cat Urine Stains and Odors From Clothes and Other Fabrics With These FREE Proven Steps
Step 1:
If the area is still wet:
Soak up the excess cat urine using paper towels. Put the towels behind the spot and on the spot and press down on a hard surface that won’t absorb the urine in the process. Replace the paper towels with clean ones and repeat this until the excess moisture is absorbed.
If the area is dry:
Move on to the next step.
Step 2:
Now you've got to neutralize the acid in the urine that has soaked into the clothing.
Mix equal parts water and white vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the spot until it is really wet.
Step 3:
Next, soak it all up like in Step 1.
Step 4:
After the area is dry sprinkle the area with baking soda. Baking soda will absorb any odor left behind that the vinegar didn't remove.
